There are three ways to buy. The first, and best deal, is to get the 2-Day Pass, which gets you in the gate on both May 13 and 14. If you don’t plan on being around on both days, you can individually purchase tickets for either May 13 or May 14.

M3 Rock Festival is back and bigger than ever in 2011! Last year’s success has inspired the event organizers to add a 2nd date for this year, so you can have more metal and more fun.
The show will start rocking on Friday, May 13, with an “M3 Kix-Off Party,” so dubbed because Kix will headline this show with special guests Warrant, LA Guns and Jetboy. On Saturday, May 14, Whitesnake will be the main attraction, but far from the only great music on tap. ( Read More…)

The M3 Festival celebrated its 2nd year at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland this past June. With attendance reaching an estimated 13,000, doubling last years numbers, it proved to be a great success.

T-minus 12 days and counting until the 2010 M3 Rock Festival! Just heard some news about the lineup that has to be shared with metalheads everywhere.
NELSON on this year’s roster has just announced that frontman and metal guitarist extraordinaire Mark Slaughter will be joining the brothers, Matthew and Gunnar, onstage at this festival! M3 marks the kick off for NELSON’s 20th anniversary tour celebrating their multi-platinum debut album After The Rain.
Mark Slaughter, of Slaughter and the Vinnie Vincent Invasion fame, is heading out with NELSON who is set to perform at various other festivals this summer as well. NELSON’s new album, The Blond Leading the Blond, is due out later this year. ( Read More…)

If you do a YouTube search on “M3 Rock Festival,” dozens of videos are returned from last shows. Some of the best clips are from sets given byDokken, Ratt (if you don’t mind the crowd of bouncing heads), and Slaughter.

The Scorpions, this year’s headlining band for the M3 Rock Festival, have released their latest album, “Sting In The Trail.” The video for the first single “The Good Die Young” has also made its way to the airways. The band, in a formal message to their fans via their website, have announced that “Sting In The Trail” will be the album they retire with.
But Scorpion fans, don’t be discouraged. The M3 Rock Festival is just one of the ways to take in the band’s final days. The festival falls in the middle of their farewell world tour 2010, “Get Your Sting And Black Out.” The world tour kicks off April 10th in Mons, Belgium. Supporting acts for the tour include Edguy, Dokken, and Cinderella.
The M3 Rock Festival returns to the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, due to the positive feedback from fans. Get ready to flex your headbanging skills as we say farewell to legendary rockers, The Scorpions!

Organizers of this year’s M3 Rock Festival want to make sure fans are getting all the information for the event and have tapped popular social networking options to help them.

In addition, the producers have updated the official website where you can check for line up additions, show schedule, sponsor info, and more. Do you long for the carefree days of the 80’s and the return of the hair metal band?Well, your prayers have been answered! Welcome to the M3 Rock Festival!
Featuring 2 stages, 16 bands, and more than 10 hours of headbanging heaven, M3 Rock Fest promises to revive all your hairband fantasies. The event will take place Saturday, May 30th at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, which is located about 25 miles outside of both Washington, DC to the south and Baltimore, MD, to the north.
Bands performing include: Twisted Sister, Ratt, Extreme, Kix,Dokken, Slaughter, Y&T, Gilby Clarke, Keel, Jetboy, L.A. Guns, Jani Lane of Warrant, XYZ, BulletBoys, and SLAMM.
