Scorpions Headlining M3 Festival, Announce Retirement
The Scorpions, this year’s headlining band for the M3 Rock Festival, have released their latest album, “Sting In The Trail.” The video for the first single “The Good Die Young” has also made its way to the airways. The band, in a formal message to their fans via their website, have announced that “Sting In The Trail” will be the album they retire with.
But Scorpion fans, don’t be discouraged. The M3 Rock Festival is just one of the ways to take in the band’s final days. The festival falls in the middle of their farewell world tour 2010, “Get Your Sting And Black Out.” The world tour kicks off April 10th in Mons, Belgium. Supporting acts for the tour include Edguy, Dokken, and Cinderella.
The M3 Rock Festival returns to the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, due to the positive feedback from fans. Get ready to flex your headbanging skills as we say farewell to legendary rockers, The Scorpions!
